General Policies

1039 — Publications

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of the Wharton Project and its affiliates and to make all documents published by the Wharton Project, all documents shall follow the following style guide:

1042 — Clear Communication

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of the Wharton Project and its affiliates, all emails going to and coming from an @whartonproject.org email are of public record unless marked “[NOT FOR PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION]” in the subject. As such all emails coming from an @whartonproject.org email address shall have the signature:

Do not share personal information via email with the Wharton Project without marking your email “[NOT FOR PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION]” in the subject.

1043 — Dress

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of the Wharton Project and its affiliates, persons representing the Wharton Project and/or its affiliates shall not wear any clothing that displays in prominence another brand or company. Representatives of the Wharton Project shall be required to always, when working, wear long pants or shorts — following the branding rule as aforestated — of plain color, socks — following the branding rule as aforestated — of plain color (matching is not required), a short or long sleeve shirt — following the branding rule as aforestated — of plain color, a jacket or jackets — following the branding rule as aforestated — when applicable or wanted, a hat — following the branding rule as aforestated — when applicable or wanted, and their Wharton Project issued identification tag/ card in prominent view at either the hip or chest line.

1044 — Weapons

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of the Wharton Project and its affiliates, guests attending Wharton Project and affiliated events are prohibited from possessing any firearms or weapons at all Wharton Project hosted and affiliated events. As such the following sign shall be posted in plain sight and view at all events:

1045 — Civility

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of the Wharton Project and its affiliates, all conversation in all means shall be conducted in civil discourse.

Web and Funding Policies

1046 — Endorsements

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of the Wharton Project and its affiliates, the Wharton Project does not endorse candidates, committees, or other entities.

1047 — Funding

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of the Wharton Project and its affiliates, the Wharton Project shall disclose all expenditures totaling over $100 in public form.

1049 — Separation of Funds and Interests

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of the Wharton Project and its affiliates and to make all documents published by the Wharton Project, all funds, assets, and interests shall be kept separate between projects.

Ohio Citizens for Home Rule Policies

1057 — Intimidation of Voters

No person who serves a representative to the Wharton Project or Ohio Citizens for Home Rule shall intimidate, threaten, coerce, or attempt to intimidate, threaten, or coerce, any other person for the purpose of interfering with the right of such other person to sign or support a petition or project or vote or to sign or support a petition or project or vote as he or she may choose, or of causing such other person to sign or support a petition or project or vote for, or not to sign or support a petition or project or vote for, shall be in violation of this policy.

1058 — Circulation of Documents

In such order to preserve the mission, stance, and operations of Ohio Citizens for Home and its affiliates, Ohio Citizens for Home Rule shall keep strict records of all document transfers via chain of handling records.
